Janet M. Rambo

Janet M. Rambo, 84, of Coatesville, passed away on Thursday, May 13th under the care of Harrison House of Coatesville.  She was the widow of the late Robert F. Rambo, who passed away in 2016 after they had shared 57 years of marriage.

Born in Modena, Janet was the daughter of the late Stella (Bussinger) and Edward Ramstine.  A resident of the Coatesville area her entire life, she was a 1956 graduate of Scott High School.  Janet was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary.

Janet, along with her husband, Bob, volunteered with Pomeroy Fire Co. and also at Lyn's school. For many years she helped with Bob's leather business and the two of them had a love of animals raising many cats and dogs.

She is survived by her daughter, Lyn Brown, wife of David, of Brandamore; two grandchildren, Kyle Brown, and Cailyn Sonneborn, wife of Kyle; and one great-grandson, Maverick Sonneborn.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 19th, 2021 at 10:30 am at Our Lady of the Rosary, 80 S 17th Ave, Coatesville, PA 19320 followed by interment at All Souls Cemetery in West Brandywine. The viewing will be from 9:30 until 10:30.  Due to construction in the church sanctuary, services will be held at the lower level.

In order to protect those at-risk, please wear a face mask and practice social distancing while at the Church.
