Jamie Ray Mendenhall

Jamie Ray Mendenhall 29 of Spartanburg SC passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 7, 2021.

Born September 4, 1991 in Ephrata PA she was the daughter of Walter G Mendenhall, and Faye Oteri Mendenhall.

Jamie was a carefree spirit who like to do things her way! She enjoyed music and loved to dance. Jamie was a traveler who enjoyed the serenity of nature. She loved to hike the Appalachian Trail. You never knew which state she would pop up in next.

She liked reading and was even writing a book! Most importantly Jamie loved Jesus with all of her heart and soul.

In addition to her parents, Jamie is survived by two half-sisters. Melissa Oteri Davis married to Joe of Greenville Tennessee, and Marie Oteri Mahoney, Married to Tim of Greenville Tennessee.

Additionally, she is survived by Jeane Poppe loving partner of Walter, As well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her best friend/ Sister Jennifer R. Mendenhall.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. We love you Jamie, Now you have your own angel wings to fly with Jenny!

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2021, at 11 AM at Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, Pa., with a visitation from 10 AM until the time of the service.  Interment will follow at the Bergstrasse Lutheran Cemetery.
