James V. Faddis

James V. Faddis went to be with his Heavenly Father, Monday, Aug. 5, 2013.

He was a loving and caring husband and father.

James was born on Oct. 19, 1930, to James and Rita Mae Werntz Faddis in Parkesburg. James married the former Mary Alice Baer on Aug. 31, 1954, in Parkesburg. Mary Alice passed away on Dec. 29, 2012.

He was a member of Marsh Creek Baptist Church for 33 years. James was retired from his business, Faddis Bros. Concrete and became a gentleman farmer first in Oxford and then in Gaines. He enjoyed hunting, gardening and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by daughter, Wilma (David) Stark of Boynton Beach, La.; son, James V. Faddis Jr. of Crayleg; daughter, Brenda (Robert) Noyes of Wrightsville; son, Michael (Tina) Faddis of Middlebury Center; daughter, Deborah Johnson of Tioga; daughter, Alice (Richard lll) Moore of Wellsboro. He also has 16 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 13th, 2013 at 11 AM at the Calvary Monument Bible Church, 1660 Mine Rd, Paradise, PA 17562 with interment in the adjoining cemetery.  The viewing will be held from 10 until 11 AM.
