James Hamilton Leitch

James Hamilton Leitch, 74, of Downingtown, PA passed away on Wednesday August 25, 2021 at the Phoenixville Hospital. Born in West Chester, he was the son of the late Alexander Leitch and Dorothy Irene Johnson Leitch.

Jim was an area resident most of his life and a graduate of the former H. Scott High School in Coatesville. He was employed by the Lukens Steel Company as a crane operator. After retirement, he moved to Tioga, PA and enjoyed living on top of "Jim's Mountain".

He is survived by one son James Brian Leitch of Tioga, PA and two sisters; Carol Fuller of Glenmoore, PA and Kimberly D. Leitch of Westwood. He was preceded in death by three siblings; Richard Leitch, Janice Coover and Robert Leitch.

Family and friends are invited to attend graveside services on Friday, September 10, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Hopewell Methodist Cemetery, 852 Hopewell Rd, Downingtown, PA 19335.
