Isabel L. Simmers

Isabel L. Simmers, 86, of Honey Brook, passed away on May 18, 2018 at the Tel Hai Retirement Community.  She was the widow of the late Donald C. Simmers who died in 1974.  Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd W. and Esther Pfitzenmeyer Lynch.

Isabel and her husband were the owners and operators of the Honey Brook Lounge from 1958-1980.  She was a member of the Honey Brook American Legion, Bradenton Moose Lodge, Red Hatters, V.F.W. and the D.A.V.

She is survived by her son, Lloyd Simmers and wife Sondra of Narvon, five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and three sisters, Marion Givler of Wagontown, Betty Ross of Coatesville and Edith Mae Evans of Reading.

The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday May 26, 2018 at 11 AM at the Tel-Hai Chapel, 1200 Tel Hai Circle, Honey Brook, PA 19344, followed by private interment at the Honey Brook Methodist Cemetery. Visitation at the Chapel from 10 until 11 AM.
