Herman M. Breuninger

Herman M. Breuninger, 92, of Coatesville, died on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at the Moses Taylor Hospital in Scranton, PA. He was husband of the late Lilli Malmstrom Breuninger who died in 2005. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Herman P. and Mabel Morgan Breuninger.

Herman lived in Coatesville all his life and was a 1942 graduate of the Scott High School. He served honorably in the US Navy during WWII. He owned and operated the Gizmo Jr. Restaurant in Caln Twp. for many years.

He was a member of the Wagontown Union Chapel, the Brandywine Goddard Masonic Lodge and the Rajah Shrine of Reading.

He is survived by three daughters; L. Christine McKee and husband Larry of Gap, Ann Larsen and husband Warren Kingsley of Dover Plains, NY and Margaret Murray and husband Chuck of NC, ten grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one daughter Karen Peszko and two siblings; Bud Breuninger and Ruth Ann Breuninger.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA followed by interment at Fairview Cemetery in Coatesville. Viewing and visitation from 10 to 10:45 AM, Masonic Services at 10:45 AM.
