Helena J. Hart

Helena Jane Hart, 84, of Gap, PA, passed away at her home on Wednesday, January 3, 2024.  She was the wife of the late William L. Hart who passed away in 2017.  Born in West Chester, PA, she was the daughter of the late William Lewis and Marion Lewis.

Helena was an area resident all her life.  She attended the Coatesville Schools.

She enjoyed family gatherings and holidays, gardening, and long chats with neighbors on the porch.  She loved watching the Philadelphia Phillies, game shows and WWE wrestling. She enjoyed vacations to Rehoboth Beach with her sisters.

She is survived by her children; Virginia A. Hart of Narvon, PA, Dennis A. (Julie) Hart of Ephrata, PA, and Terri L. (Steve) Mattson of Gap, PA, seven grandchildren, one great grandchild, and siblings, Margaret Spotts of Coatesville, PA, Florence Amorella of Downingtown, PA, Jane Thomas of Prescott, AZ, and Joe Lewis of New Holland, PA.  She was preceded in death by sons, David and William Jr., three sisters, and two brothers.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. from the Wilde Funeral Home, Parkesburg, PA, with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m.  Interment to follow at Glen Run Cemetery, Atglen, PA.
