Helen Mary Mowday

Helen Mary Mowday, 89, of Coatesville, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, May 18, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was the widow of the late Robert Allan Mowday with whom she shared 44 years of marriage. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Willamena Snyder Ladeck.

Helen grew up in Manheim, PA. After graduating from the Manheim High School she  attended the Lancaster General School of Nursing. She moved to West Brandywine Township in 1955.

She was a member of Cornerstone Fellowship of Coatesville, PA.

She is survived by four children; Rhonda Mowday of Coatesville, Robert Allan Mowday, Jr. of Coatesville, Carolyn M. Rea and husband Eric of Malvern and Melissa M. Alton and husband Philip of Coatesville, seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers; Scott Shelley and Robert Shelley.

Funeral services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
