Helen Louise Lawrence

Helen Louise Lawrence, 77, of West Grove, passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at the Jennersville Regional Hospital. Born in Coatesville, She was the daughter of the late Franklin L. Lawrence and Bertha Taylor Lawrence Triplett.

Helen was an area resident all her life and a 1962 graduate of the former H. Scott High School in Coatesville. She was employed for most of her life at various day care centers as well as at St. Mary of Providence where she worked with handicapped children.

Helen loved bingo, crafts, camping, visiting Raystown Lake, animals and yard sales.  She loved to bake and make candy. She was famous in the family for her pizelles, peanut butter eggs and pumpkin roll.   In later years she enjoyed the Hallmark Channel movies and doing word finds.  Helen loved her family and spending time with them always made her day.  She enjoyed family reunions, holidays and visiting for extended stays with her Aunt Myrtle and cousins Valerie and Debbie. She was kind, generous and patient beyond words and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by two nieces; Leda Marie Hart and husband Todd of Coatesville, Susan Rae Lawrence of Thorndale, one nephew; Larry L. Lawrence, Jr. and wife Amy of Coatesville, one great nephew Brian Hart and three great nieces; Brandy Hart, Kendall Smith and Aubree Lawrence. She was preceded in death by one brother Larry L. Lawrence, Sr. back in January.

Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA followed by inurnment at the Fairview Cemetery in Coatesville. Visitation at the funeral home starting at 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
