Harriet C. White

Harriet C. White, 87, formerly of Coatesville, passed away on the morning of Thursday, December 23rd, 2021 at Sunrise Nursing Home of Exton. Harriet was the widow of the late Sterling D. White, with whom she had shared fifty years of marriage.

She was born in the Bronx in New York City on March 10, 1934 to the late Mildred (Zales) and Charles Weininger. Harriet attended Evander Childs High School and graduated in 1952.

While in high school, in addition to being a student, Harriet also found employment as a Rockette! After graduating, she moved on to work at the Screening Room in Universal Studios NYC as a receptionist. Most recently, she was a medical secretary at Brandywine OB/GYN.

Besides many exciting careers, Harriet was an avid animal lover and had a love for big band music.

She is survived by her two sons and one daughter-- Sterling White and wife Linda, their children:  Tina (Scott Usner), Matthew, Katie, Richard Hinkle (Sasha McComsey), and Robin Cheezum; Kurt White and wife Kathy, their children: Tyler and Ben; and Bonnie White and her son, Cody. In addition to her eight grandchildren, Harriet is survived also by one great grandchild Draven and two loving cats Lance and Lindy.

A private service will be scheduled at the convenience of the family.
