Harold L. Tyson

October 19, 1929 — June 26, 2017

Harold L. Tyson, 87, of Milton, DE, formerly of Coatesville, died on Monday, June 26, 2017 at the Beebe Medical Center in Lewes, DE. He was the beloved husband of Anna Simpson Tyson with whom he shared 66 years of marriage. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Harry Edgar Tyson and Ethel Mae Powell Tyson.

Harold was a Coatesville area resident most of his life. After retiring in 1997 from car sales in Caln, Harold moved to Delaware. He was a member of the Coatesville Bible Fellowship and also the Brandywine-Goddard Lodge 383  F. & A. M.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by five children; Beth Klink and husband John, of Georgetown, DE. Jana Viguers of Milton, DE. Craig Tyson and wife Karen of Coatesville, Timothy Tyson and wife Teresa of Mountain Top, PA and Chad Tyson of Parkesburg, eight grandchildren; Allyson, Brian, Abigail, Aaron, Indigo, Adam, Chad Trae', and Jahleel and five siblings; Robert of Honey Brook, Jim of Cochranville, Ron of Thorndale, Joan Haider of North Carolina and Fred of Coatesville. He was preceded in death by siblings, Angela, Harry, Carl and Joyce.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 2pm at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA followed by interment at the Upper Octorara Cemetery. Viewing from 1pm to 1:45pm. Masonic Services at 1:45pm.  Memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Shriners Hospital, 3551 North Broad St. Philadelphia, PA 19140.
