H. James Fitzmier

August 4, 1937 — February 26, 2015

Surrounded by his family, H. James “Jim” Fitzmier, 77, of Elverson PA,
passed away peacefully on February 26th. Originally from southwest
Philadelphia and the Gradyville area, Jim served in the U.S. Navy
aboard the U.S.S. Wren and then worked at Curtis Publishing, Boeing
Vertol, and Wyeth-Ayerst Pharmaceuticals. He was a long time coach in
Chester Valley and Exton (LYA) for both baseball and soccer. Jim was
actively involved at Windsor Baptist Church and Calvary Chapel Chester
Springs. He loved golfing, hunting, and reading.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Dianne, his three
children, seven grandchildren, a brother and two sisters.

Relatives and friends are invited to a celebration of Jim’s life at
Windsor Baptist Church, 213 Little Conestoga Rd., Uwchland, PA on Saturday, March
7th at 11AM with visitation from 10 to 11AM followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.
