Gregory A. Stanley, Sr.

Gregory A. Stanley, Sr., 67, of New Holland, passed away at his home on Monday, March 27, 2023. Born in Coatesville he was the son of the late John B. Stanley, Jr. and Betty Lou (Bair) Stanley.

Gregory was a 1973 graduate of Coatesville Area Senior High School and most recently worked for Weaver Precast-Superior Walls. He was a member of the Welsh Mountaineers and New Holland American Legion.

He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, trips to the mountains and the beach, lifelong friendships, hanging out on the back deck birdwatching, and watching his grandkids swim and grow up.

He is survived by two children: Gregory A. Stanley Jr. and wife Beth of Parkesburg and Ashley Smith and husband Taylor of Gap, 5 grandchildren: Mackenzie Stanley, Avery Smith, CJ Stanley, R iley Smith, and Shea Stanley, 2 siblings: Randy L. Stanley and wife Carol of Kinzers and Karen Montgomery and husband James Jr. of Coatesville, and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.  Additionally, he is survived by his ex-wife Suzanne Stanley.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, April 6, 2023, from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, Pennsylvania, 19365. Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation period taking place from 9:30 AM until the start of the service. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
