Grace "Nancy" Barrett

Grace "Nancy" Barrett, 82, of New Providence, passed away at home under the loving care of her daughter Donna, on Sunday May 8, 2016. She was the wife of the late Arrington George Barrett, who died in 1999. Born in Shillington, PA, she was the daughter of the late Edwin J. and Eva Amelia Gabler Kershaw.

An area resident all of her life, she was a parishioner of St. Malachi Church.

She is survived six children; Arrington "George" Barrett Jr., husband of Marge, of Unionville, PA, Donna Lister of New Providence, Pa, John Barrett, husband of Valerie, of Newark, NJ, Sandra Fanelli of Arden, DE, Judy Anderson of New Providence, PA and Jeffrey Barrett, Husband of Lisa, of Denver, PA. She is survived in addition to her children by one brother Joseph Kershaw of Baltimore, 17 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four siblings, James Kershaw, Alice Kasdin, Mary Riley, and Ed Kershaw.

A Mass Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 13, 2016 at 11:00am from St.Malachi Chapel 76 St. Malachi Road Cochranville PA, 19330 followed by an interment in the adjoining cemetery. Family and friends are also invited to attend the visitation at the chapel from 10:00am until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to The American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
