Gloria Marie "Sis" Smith

Gloria Marie "Sis" Smith, 65, of Parkesburg, died on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 while under the care of Hospice and Community Care in Mt. Joy, PA.

Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of Doris E. Seiders Smith of Lititz and the late Earl R. Smith.

She was a Parkesburg resident most of her life. She attended Octorara High School.

She loved animals and left behind her dog Rusty.

She was an Honorary member of the Parkesburg Fire Company where she volunteered as an aide on the ambulance.

She spent a lot of time watching her many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

She is survived by five siblings; Karen Budzik of Parkesburg, Walter Smith of West Caln, Virginia Groff of Lancaster, Joanne Smith of Lititz, John Smith of York Springs.

Graveside services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.  Memorial donations may be made in her memory to Hospice and Community Care, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
