Gloria Isabelle Seese

Gloria Isabelle Seese, 91, of Parkesburg passed into Jesus's arms on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at the Brandywine Hospital after a short illness. Born on August 11, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Alfred R. Johnson and Isabelle L. Gehrig Johnson of Coatesville.  Gloria was a housewife and enjoyed spending time with her children and going for long rides.  She was an excellent cook.

Gloria is survived by her loving children Clarence R. Seese of Coatesville, Carol, wife of Michael Pearson of Doulasville, Sharon wife of Norman McCarraher of Parkesburg, Bella, wife of William Ahrens of Dover, Delaware, Richard Seese of Coatesville and Anita, wife of  Ray Mynatt of Downingtown, her sister Mary Jane Mentzer of Coatesville and brother William Johnson of Florida, 16 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces and her wonderful aide Pumpkin Jacks.

Gloria was preceded in death by her siblings Edna Mae Ham, Gary Johnson, Donald Johnson, late husband Clarence H. Seese, daughter in law, Sharon Seese, four grandsons and one great-grandson.

Internment services will be privately provided by Wilde Funeral Home, Parkesburg, Pa and graveside memorial by Reverend Jim Davis.
