Gloria Clark, affectionately known as "Little Annie" by her father, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 19, 1949, in West Grove, Pennsylvania, and spent her formative years on a small farm near Kirkwood, PA, before moving to Gap, PA; where she attended Gap Elementary School and graduated from Pequea Valley High School in the class of 1967.
In her youth, Gloria worked in various local businesses, showcasing her strong work ethic as a retail worker, waitress, and cook. She eventually settled in Lancaster with her husband John, where they established their own business before later relocating to York County. There, Gloria pursued a career as a USDA food inspector for Tyson Foods.
Throughout her life, Gloria cherished spending time with her extensive family, indulging in her passion for golf alongside her husband, and enjoying trips to their mountain cabin. Upon retirement, she and John embraced full-time residency in Tioga, PA.
Gloria is survived by her devoted husband, John Thomas Clark, her sons Brian Greist of Tioga, PA, and John T. Clark and his wife Heather and children Austton, Claeton, and Kayhle of North Carolina; as well as her granddaughter Brittany Marie Wilson of Hummelstown; and three great-grandchildren: Ellie, Cole, and Madeline. She also leaves behind eight siblings: Terry (Sherry) Renshaw, Elaine (Chuck) Chalfant, Earl (Cathy) Renshaw, Ike (Diana) Renshaw, Patrick (Patty) Renshaw, Kathi Renshaw, Bill (Dina) Renshaw and Suzette Renshaw; along with 14 nieces and nephews.
Gloria was predeceased by her parents, William and Lillian Renshaw of Gap, PA, her brother Michael Renshaw; and her grandson Nicholas Clark.
“Little Annie” was incredibly devoted to family and showed unwavering love for her granddaughter Brittany.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 19, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA followed by interment at the Oxford Cemetery in Oxford, PA. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing on Thursday evening, April 18th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and also Friday from 10:00 AM to the time of the service.
