Glinda L. Cortlessa

Glinda L. Cortlessa, 65, of Coatesville, passed away on July 29, 2021, at Tower Health in Coatesville.  She was the wife of Patrick P. Cortlessa for over 35 years.  Born in Coatesville she was the daughter of the late Thomas C. and Jessie R. Halsey Jones.

She was a graduate of Downingtown High School and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Coatesville. When she was younger she enjoyed drag racing with her father and won several trophies. She enjoyed gardening and loved her dog, Frank.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two grandsons, Jarred Cortlessa and Thomas Kovach, both of Phoenixville, two brothers, Mark Jones, husband of Missy, of Georgetown, and James Jones of Huntington, several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, and a special aunt, Louella Halsey, who was there in her time of need. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sarah Cortlessa, and a grandson, Joey Kohn.
