Geraldine V. "Shirley" Schapansky

Geraldine V. "Shirley" Schapansky, 83, of Strasburg, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at the Life Care Hospital in West Chester, PA. She was the wife of the late David Schapansky who died in 1999. Born in Tuckerdale, NC, she was the daughter of the late Vaughn and Viola Hurley Miller.

Geraldine was  a resident of Strasburg for two years and formerly she had lived in Lady Lake, FL. She was employed by Borroughs of Downingtown, PA.

She is survived by one daughter, Denise S. Browning and husband Charles of Quarryville, one granddaughter Stephanie Weaver and husband Shawn of Nottingham, one great grandson Matthew Weaver and five siblings; Barbara Johnson (Jerry), Phyllis Wooldridge, Richard Miller, Robert Miller and Kenneth Miller and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two children; Linda Hilton and David C. Schapansky, one great grandchild Cori R. Weaver and one brother Wayne Miller.
