Gerald Lynn "Bub" Smith, Jr.

Gerald Lynn "Bub" Smith, Jr., 24, of Parkesburg, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2013.

He was the beloved son of Susan M. Cazillo of Parkesburg and Gerald L. Smith Sr. of Columbia, PA.

Bub was a 2007 graduate of Octorara High School.  He was employed by Pinnacle Stone Products of Parkesburg as a Stonecutter.

Bub was an avid fisherman, hard worker, devoted father, son, brother, nephew, grandson, cousin and friend.  His smile could light up a room and he will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.

He is survived, in addition to his parents, by his daughter, Gianna Jeffers-Smith and son, Gabriel Jeffers; siblings, Jennifer Cazillo of Parkesburg, Jordan Cazillo of Parkesburg and half sister, Megan Taylor of York; maternal grandfather, Robert Cazillo, Sr. of Parkesburg; and paternal grandmother, Thelma Smith of Columbia.

The Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, June 11th, 2013 at 12 noon at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, followed by interment in the Upper Octorara Cemetery.  Visitation from 10am until 12.

In lieu of flowers, checks can be made out to "Gerald Smith Jr." and sent to Citadel Bank, 4051 West Lincoln Highway, Parkesburg, PA 19365, where a fund will be created for his children.
