George L. Holston, Sr.

George L. Holston, Sr., 64, of Glenmoore, passed away at the Brandywine Hospital on Monday, February 13, 2017. He was the beloved husband Dorothy L. "Dottie" Powers Holston with whom he shared 41 years of marriage. Born in West Chester, he was the son of the late George E. and Marian Emily Good Holston.

George was a County resident all his life and 1971 graduate of Henderson High School. He was employed by Chick-fil-A in Downingtown for the past nine years as service concierge. He was an active member of the Valley Baptist Church for the past 40 years.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by two children; George L. Holston, Jr. and wife Dawn of Coatesville and Chirstina Ford and husband Michael of Coatesville and four step grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 17, 2017 at 11:00am at the Valley Baptist Church, 200 Airport Road, Coatesville, PA 19320 with Pastor Kevin Cavanaugh officiating. Visitation and viewing at the church from 10:00am to 11:00am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in George's memory to the Valley Baptist Church at the above address.
