Franklin N. Butcher

Franklin N. Butcher, 80 of Coatesville, PA, formerly of Downingtown and Phoenixville, passed away at his home on April 23, 2016. He was the widower of the late Pamela Francis. Born in Unionville, he was the son of the late Milton and Genevia H. Butcher Cheers.
An area resident all his life he was employed as a machinist for Lasko Manfacturing of West Chester.

Franklin served honorably in the U.S. Air Force from 1954-1958.

He is survived by his children, Anthony Morris and his wife, Crystal, Artesia Morris, Denise Butcher, Franklin N. Butcher, Jr.,  Sieglelinda Butcher and husband Cleveland, Bryan Francis and Alexander Butcher and wife Teena, 27 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 3:00pm from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA with visitation from 2:00-3:00 PM.  Interment will be scheduled at a later date at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
