Franklin E. Pratt, Jr.

Franklin E. Pratt Jr., 85, of Wallingford passed away at Paoli Memorial Hospital on Friday, February 14, 2020. Born in Coatesville he was the son of the late Franklin E. and Doris (Minker) Pratt. He was the beloved husband of Frances Lewis Pratt.

Franklin was a graduate of Coatesville Area Senior High School. Following his graduation, he went on to honorably serve in the United States Marines. Franklin was employed as a Power Dispatcher at Lukens Steel in Coatesville for 44 years.

Outside of work Franklin enjoyed golfing, theater, music, hunting, traveling, trips to Longwood Gardens, and really anything associated with nature.

Franklin is survived in addition to his wife by two children: Ronne and Donna; three grandchildren and one brother Ernie.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, February 20, 2020 from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, PA 19365. Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation period taking place 10 AM until the start of the service. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
