Frank M. Stringer, 92, of Caln Township, Chester County, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at the Chester County Hospital in West Chester, PA. He was the beloved husband of Jane Rodenboh Stringer with whom he shared 69 years of marriage. Born in the Village of Fisherville, Caln Township, he was the son of the late George D. Stringer and Elsie K. Hart Stringer.
Frank was an area resident all his life. He proudly served in the US Army, during the Korean War, from 1953 to 1955.
He was employed, for over 35 years, by the Sonco paper mill in Downingtown, PA
Besides spending time with his family, he enjoyed quiet times fishing along the East Branch of the Brandywine River.
He is survived, in addition to his wife, by two children; Barbara J. Della Camera and husband Phillip of Selma, NC and David G. Stringer of Honey Brook, PA, two granddaughters; Andrea Andersen (Jacob) of Selma, NC, and Erica Smith (Milton) of Atglen, PA and one brother Elwood Stringer of Boothwyn, PA. He was preceded in death by three siblings; Ciel Carr, Josephine Bingham and Daniel Stringer.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
