Frances E. Riley, 90, of Honey Brook passed away at her home on Tuesday, March 21, 2023. Born in Concordville, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Franklin E. Chandler and Vera (Bullock) Chandler.
Following her formal education, she served as a Butcher [She skinned 305 deer in one season] for Heyburn’s Butcher Shop. A sassy, spunky, funny, loving, wonderful, person with a taste for adventure every visit. Always had a joke to tell. She traveled to all 50 states Canada and Germany. She loved the Phillies and casinos. She was a crafter of many things mostly sweaters and microwave potholders. She loved listening to Real Country Music.
She is survived by three children: Frances Hess of Honey Brook, Thomas Riley and wife Robin of Quarryville, and Henry Riley and wife Irma of Peach Bottom, additionally she is survived by 2 grandchildren. 5 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren
She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas A Riley Sr., one granddaughter: Jamie Hess. 5 brothers Alfred, Franklin, Watson, Hersey, and Herbert, and 3 sisters Hazel, Erma, and Jean
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
