Felix Ernest South, Jr., 78 of Nottingham went to his Heavenly home to be with his loving wife, on August 22, 2012. He was the husband of the late Mary E. South who died in 2009. Born in Tamarack, NC, he was the son of the late Felix E. and Sarah E. Potter South.
Formerly of Toughkenamon, he lived in Nottingham since 1995. Felix was employed in the mushroom business. He was a member of the Family Worship Restoration Center of Peach Bottom.
He is survived by 10 children; Wilma Gentry and husband Jim Roark, James South and wife Hazel, Simon South and wife Bonnie, Martha, wife of Mike Blevins, Brian K. South, Mark South and wife Melissa, Ella, wife of Pete Durso, Tammy Becerra, Victoria Maynard and Crystal, wife of Mario Gaona, 18 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter Bonnie South and five siblings.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 27th, 2012 at 11:00 am from the Nottingham Missionary Baptist Church, 303 West Christine Road, Nottingham, PA followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing which will be held Sunday evening from 5 to 7:00pm at the Family Worship Restoration Center, 148 Arcadia Trace Road, Peach Bottom, PA 17563.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Wilde Funeral Home of Parkesburg.
