Evelyn E. Weaver

Evelyn E. Weaver, 79, of West Chester, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at the Tel Hai Retirement Community, where she had resided since 2007. She was the widow of the late Joseph Edward Weaver, who passed away in 1984.

Born in Media, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Dorothy Herr Edwards and Harry Edwards.

She worked as a secretary at Paoli Hospital in the Maintenance Dept. for years. Later she worked at the Senior Center of West Chester.

Evelyn is survived by her five children, Linda Love, wife of Richard, of Paradise, Susan Ocealis, wife of Michael, of Goode, Va., Robert Weaver, husband of Lynn, of Coatesville, Edward Weaver of Downingtown, and Dr. Michael Weaver, husband of Cathy, of Greer, S.C.; and 15 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her son, Joseph Eric Weaver, her grandson, Kenneth Weaver and her sisters, Dorothy and Margaret Edwards.

The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 4 at 11 a.m. at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, followed by internment in the Grove United Methodist Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing from 10 until 11 AM.
