Eugene C. Kuch

December 26, 1929 — August 9, 2014

Eugene C. Kuch, 84, of Honey Brook, died on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at the Coatesville VA Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth Kuch who died in 2013. Born in Cains, Lancaster County, he was the son of the late Eugene J. and Priscilla Szilagyi Kuch.

Eugene was an area resident all his life and a 1949 graduate of Williams Trade School. He proudly served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was employed by the Lukens Steel Co. retiring in 1989 with 35 years of service. He also served for 12 years as a Game Warden.

He was an active member of the Highland Baptist Church of Parkesburg.

He is survived by one son John Kuch and wife Debbie of Westwood, two step children; Randy Max and wife Margaret of Honey Brook, Joseph Max and wife Nancy of West Caln and five grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one sister Charlotte, wife of Albert Elvanian of West Chester.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 12 noon at the Highland Baptist Church, 1 East Highland Road, Parkesburg, PA followed by interment at the Glen Run Baptist Cemetery. Viewing at the church from 11am to 12 noon.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Department of Veterans Affairs, designated to the Hospice and Palliative Care Program.  Mailing address:   Coatesville VA Medical Center Voluntary Services, 1400 Blackhorse Hill Rd., Coatesville, PA 19320.
