Ethel Jean Shaw

Ethel Jean Shaw, 73, of South Coatesville, passed away at her home on Monday February, 24, 2020 surrounded by her family. She was the widow of the late John L. Shaw with whom she shared 42 years of marriage. Born in Trenton, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Harry Haws and Elisabeth Josephine Kuenzner Haws.

Jean grew up in Mays Landing, NJ and was a graduate of the Oak Crest High School. She worked all her life and was last employed by Walmart.

She is survived by two daughters; Elizabeth J. Corle and husband Christopher of Coatesville and Roseanne B. Pyott and husband Michael A. Trillo of Lancaster, seven grandchildren, Jesse O. DeVault, Ashley M. Pyott, Isabel J. DeVault fiancé of Kyle Diggins, Harley R. Pyott, Renee N. Pyott, and Virginia A. DeVault, and Zachary T. Shaw son of Thomas and Shanna Shaw, five great grandchildren and two sisters; Virginia M. Haws of Bridesburg, Philadelphia, PA and Betty A. Crecelius of Mayfair, Philadelphia, PA. She was preceded in death by one son Thomas J. Shaw and eight siblings; Michael Kuenzer, Louise Brown, Ruth Digliamo, JoAnn Wells, Peter Haws, Christian Haws, Charles Haws and Harry Haws.

A Celebration of Life Service drop in will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Modena Fire Company Hall, 5 N. Brandywine Ave, Coatesville, PA 19320. Please omit flowers.
