Ernest G. Disante

Ernest G. DiSante, 82, of Thorndale, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2009 at the Brandywine Hospital. He was beloved husband of Angelina R. Papaloni DiSante, with whom he would have shared 60 years of marriage in February.

Born on July 27, 1927 in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Gaetano and Mary Bartelmo DiSante. He served honorably in the U.S. Navy. He was employed in the Data Processing Dept. for the Coatesville VA, CASH and lastly by Norcross until his retirement in 1977. Ernest was a 75 year parishioner of the St. Joseph Parish in Downingtown.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by one son, John E. DiSante, husband of Judy, of Honey Brook; a brother, James DiSante of Downingtown; one step granddaughter and two step great grandsons. He was predeceased by his brother Charles and sister Teresa DiSante.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 21 at 11 a.m. at the St. Joseph Parish, 338 Manor Ave., Downingtown, Pa., followed by interment in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing, which will be held from 10 until 11 AM.
