Emil Tkachick

Emil "Chick" Tkachick, 91, of Downingtown, passed away on Tuesday, January 5th, 2016 while under the care of the Hickory House Nursing Home of Honey Brook.  He was the beloved husband of Gladys (Fussell) Tkachick, with whom he shared 60 years of marriage.

Born in Garfield, N.J., he was the son of the late Mary (Zelenak) and Peter Tkachick.

Chick served honorably in the US Navy during WWII in the Pacific Theatre of operations.  He was employed as a Licensed Aircraft Mechanic.

He was a member of the Hopewell United Methodist Church.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by his son, Robert P. Tkachick, husband of Susan, of Newark, DE.

Memorial services will be announced at a future date.
