Ellis P. Walton, Sr.

Ellis P. Walton, Sr., 68, of West Chester, died on Sunday, October 10, 2010 at the Brandywine Hospital. Born in West Chester, he was the son of the late Earl T. and Grace B. Edwards Walton. An area resident all his life, he was employed by Highland Orchards for the past 30 years. He enjoyed going fishing with family and friends.

He is survived by two sons; Ellis P. Walton Jr. and Paul W. Walton both of Downingtown, one granddaughter, eight siblings; Martin Walton of West Chester, Anna Clark of Gap, Herb Walton of New Holland, Dorothy Warmijak of Honey Brook, Ralph Walton of Ephrata, Leon Walton of West Chester, Raymond Walton of Kinzers and Robert Walton of Coatesville, and also a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four sisters and five brothers.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 11:00 am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA followed by interment at the Meadville Mennonite Cemetery in Narvon. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing on Friday evening at the funeral home from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and also from 9:00 to 11:00 am. on Saturday morning.
