Elizabeth Lorna Cahoe

Elizabeth Lorna "Betsy" Cahoe, 67, of Coatesville, PA, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2025, in West Chester, PA.  Born in West Chester, she was the daughter of the late Jonathan P. and Mary Catherine (Baker) Jones.

Betsy was a 1975 graduate  of Twin Valley HS, and a 1988 graduate of the Brandywine School of Nursing, and Immaculata University. 

She was an avid bird watcher,with a fondness for owls,and was owner of the former Wild Bird Marketplace in Guthriesville. Bets was an avid music lover, and enjoyed playing her violin. A hippie at heart, she was a good person who would always be willing to help those in need. She will be deeply missed by friends and family.

She is survived by a brother, Ed Jones of West Chester, a sister, Lisa (Chris) Harden of Port St. Lucie, FL, nephews, Mark, Matthew, and Paul, nieces, Sarah and Lisa, and several great nephews and great nieces.  She was preceded in death by a sister, Susanna Clapsadle.

A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. from the Wilde Funeral Home, Parkesburg, PA, with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Honey Brook Methodist Cemetery, Honey Brook, PA.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the World Wildlife fund.
