Elizabeth Anne March

Elizabeth Anne March, 88, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 14, 2025 at the Fairmount Homes Retirement Community of Ephrata. She was the beloved wife of George L. March Jr. with whom she shared 65 years of marriage. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Christopher W. McClintock and Helen E. (Trout) McClintock.

She grew up in Chester Springs and Eagle, PA, and was a 1954 graduate of Downingtown High School where she was valedictorian of her class.  She resided in Downingtown for over 50 years and spent most of her life as a devoted wife, mom, and grandma.   She enjoyed playing piano and organ at church, reading, and camping with her family.  She also worked part-time at Bishop Shanahan High School as an administrative assistant for 18 years.

She is survived, in addition to her husband, by four children; George L. March III and wife Erica of Downingtown, PA, Robert J. March and wife Celeste of Birdsboro, PA, Sandra E. Pearson and husband David of Lancaster, PA and Melissa A. Beagle of Elverson, PA, 11 grandchildren, one great grandchild and two brothers, Robert W. McClintock and wife Ruth of Chester Springs, PA, and James H. McClintock and wife Angela of Phoenixville, PA.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 24, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Windsor Baptist Church, 213 Little Conestoga Rd, Downingtown, PA, with visitation at the church from 10:00 AM to the time of the service, followed by interment at the Windsor Baptist Cemetery.
