Elaine M. Boyes

Elaine M. Boyes, 59, of Coatesville, passed away at her home on Sunday, July 25, 2010. She was the wife of the late Ernest L. Boyes, Sr. who died last year. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late James A. and Myrle Lesher Martin.

Elaine lived in the area all her life and was a 1969 graduate of CASH. She was employed, for 17 years, by Dopaco Food Service Packaging of Exton. Elaine was active, for the past 20 years, with the Covered Bridge Classic fund raiser event. She was also a member of the Hockessin Baptist Church in Hockessin, DE.

She is survived by two sons; Ernest L. Boyes, Jr. and wife Stephanie of Parkesburg, James A. Boyes and wife Kimberly of Oxford; three granddaughters, Ashley Begley, Rylee and Kara Boyes, two sisters; Ruth Ann, wife of Gary Boyd of Coatesville, Jeanne Elizabeth Kennedy of Lancaster and her loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 11:00am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, followed by interment in the Glen Run Cemetery, Atglen, PA. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing, which will be held at the Funeral Home from 9:00am until the time of the service.
