Edwin D. Wike

Edwin D. Wike, 57, of Coatesville, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2016 at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.  He was the husband of Alice E. Dunfee Wike.

Born in Coatesville, Edwin was the son of the late Carla (Vosshenrich) and Robert Wike.

An area resident most of his life, he was a 1977 graduate of CASH.  Edwin was self-employed as a Carpet Installer.

He loved NASCAR, dirt track racing and playing pool.

Edwin is survived, in addition to his wife, by three children, Robert, Heather and Brandon; three step-children, Kelly, David and Will; five grandchildren; and two siblings, Caroline and Carl. He was preceded in death by his sister Heather.

A celebration of Edwin's life will take place on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at the Downingtown VFW, 4601 W Lincoln Hwy, Downingtown, PA 19335.  The family will be receiving friends and family from 11 AM until 4 PM.
