Dorothy V. O'Neill

Dorothy V. O'Neill, 94, of Christiana, PA, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025 at the Newport Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Christiana, PA. She was the widow of the late Edward O'Neill. Born in Chester, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Skwirut) Novak.

Dorothy was a devoted wife and mother and a parishioner at Our Lady of Consolation Church in Parkesburg, PA.

She is survived by two children; Patricia A. Sigda and husband John of Lancaster, PA and Bro. Jesse E. O'Neill SM of Philadelphia, PA, three grandchildren; Jason Overbeck, Jonathan Overbeck and Justin Sigda and three great granddaughters; Leila Overbeck, Morgan Overbeck and Rozlynn Overbeck. She was preceded in death by one sister Josephine Warren and seven brothers; Walter, Joseph, John, Peter, Anthony, William and Frank Novak.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 27, 2025 at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Consolation Church,  603 West Second Ave., Parkesburg, PA with visitation at the church from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Interment at Our Lady of the Seven Dolors Roman Catholic Cemetery, Parkesburg, PA.
