Dorothy M. Walker

Dorothy M. Walker, 84, of Gap, died on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at the Harrison Senior Living Center in Christiana. Dorothy was the wife of the late James B. Walker, Jr. and the companion of Horace A. Bailey, Jr. Born at Andrews Bridge, Lancaster County, she was the daughter of the late Walter C. and Mary Emma Groff Snyder.

Dorothy lived in the area all her life and was a graduate of the Walnut Grove School. She  was a Presbyterian by faith.

She is survived by three children, Colleen Felegy of Leola, James B. Walker, III and Joseph W. Walker both of Dallas, Texas, four grandchildren; Steve, Ryan, Kristeen and Rebecca and two sisters; Kathryn P. Whalen and Pauline MacKenzie both of Oxford. She was preceded in death by four brothers; James G. "Spank" Snyder, Simon Snyder, Roy Snyder and John Snyder.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 10am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA followed by interment at the Sadsbury Friends Burial Grounds. Viewing from 9 to 10am.
