Dorothy K. Abbs

Dorothy K. Abbs, 80, of Coatesville, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at the Brandywine Hospital. She was the widow of the late Sidney Francis Abbs, Jr. who died in 2016. They shared 55 years of marriage. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Frank J. Krempa and Julia Sokso Krempa.

Dorothy was an area resident all her life and a 1958 graduate of the former H. Scott High School in Coatesville. She was employed by AJ Bolsenski Inc. of Honey Brook as an administrative office worker retiring in 2016.

She is survived by two sons James Abbs of East Earl, PA and John Abbs and wife Gwen of  Coatesville, five grandchildren; Charlena Wanner, Tara Gregory and husband Carlos, Elizabeth Williams, Jeff Abbs and wife Ashley and Tammy Johnson and husband Charles, seven great grandchildren; Kyle Wanner, Joseph Wanner, Daniel Wanner, Kodi Lawrence, Maria Gregory, Tyler Johnson and Skylar Johnson, one great great granddaughter Elliana Madonna, one brother John Krempa and wife Deborah, niece Lisa Hasham and husband John, one nephew John Krempa, Jr. and wife Andrea, one grandnephew Max Hasham and one grandniece Julia Hasham. She was preceded in death by one sister Mary Krempa, one daughter-in-law Lisa Abbs and one great grandson Austin Madonna.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 4:00 PM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, PA. with visitation from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

In order to protect those at-risk, please wear a face mask and practice social distancing while at the Wilde Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Dorothy's memory to the St. Judes Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
