Dorothy E. Mcginnis

Dorothy E. McGinnis, 86, of Parkesburg, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at the Heatherwood Retirement Community of Honey Brook, PA. She was the widow of the late George M. McGinnis, Jr. who died in 2018. They shared 60 years of marriage. Born in Thorndale, PA, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Cloud and Naomi Good Cloud.

Dot was an area resident all her life and a 1956 graduate of the former Scott High School in Coatesville, PA. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, taking walks, fishing and trips with the family to the shore and the mountains.

She was a member of the Parkesburg United Methodist Church.

She is survived by four children, 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and six siblings. She was preceded in death by seven siblings.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
