Dorothy E. Jackson

Dorothy E. Jackson, 79, of West Grove, passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Chester County Hospital from complications of Congestive Heart Failure.



She was the daughter of John and Pearl Jackson of Coatesville.  She was married to John B. Gibson.  She is survived by a brother Charles E. Jackson, husband of Janet, and four daughters, Susan, wife of Mordecai Smith, of Cochranville, Elaine, wife of James Russell, of Lancaster, Judy, widow of Robert Metelli, of Philadelphia and Audrey, wife of Ed Goodman, of Philadelphia; she was grandmother of three, great grandmother of seven, and great, great grandmother of one; and she was the aunt to two.



She was predeceased by her parents, her husband and a granddaughter, Julie Smith.



The Memorial Service will be held on NEXT Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at 8 p.m. at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, with visitation from 6 until 8.
