Doris Carter

Doris Carter, 67, of Atglen, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2014 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was the widow of the late George Carter, with whom she shared 10 years of marriage.

Born in Coatesville, Doris was the daughter of the late Mary Sara (Gibson) and Paul Mann. She was a 1964 graduate of the Octorara High School.

Doris was a member of the Friendship Methodist Church of Gum Tree.

She was employed by the Visiting Angels of Downingtown, retiring two years ago. She was also a Hospice Volunteer at the Brandywine Home Health.

Doris is survived by her siblings, Paul Mann of Parkesburg, Mary Lou Carr of Parkesburg, Louise Yohn of New Holland and Kenny Mann of East Earl.

The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 11 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, PA followed by interment in the Bradford Cemetery. The viewing will be from 10 until 11 AM.
