Doris Ann Townsend

Doris Ann Townsend, 86, of Parkesburg, Pa., passed away on Sunday, April 5th, 2020 at her home, under the care of her family.  She was the widow of the late Robert R. Townsend, Jr., who passed away in 2003.

Born in West Virginia, Doris was the daughter of the late Willie V. (Presley) and Mike A. Tolley.  She was a graduate of Gary High School in West Virginia.

She is survived by her two children, Robert S. Townsend, husband of Catherine, of Christiana, and Dawn A. Norwood, wife of John, of Parkesburg; four stepchildren; one granddaughter, Samantha Townsend; four great grandchildren; and two great, great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her brother, Jack Trolley.

Due to the current restriction on public gatherings, the service and burial at Upper Octorara Cemetery will be private.
