Donna Jean Cook

Donna Jean Cook, 81, of Parkesburg passed away on April 10, 2017 at Hickory House, Honey Brook, PA.  She was the widow of the late William A. Cook.

Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Elma Simmons Shultz.  An area resident, she attended Parkesburg United Methodist Church.  She was employed as a short order cook and waitress.

She is survived by her son, Edward Claude Walton of Dallastown, PA, six grandchildren, Dawn Bridge of Dallastown, Amanda Walton of East Earl, Megan Walton of New Holland, Brittany Walton of Elkhart, IN, Kelly Laukhauf of New Holland and Chad Whiteman of New Holland and nine great grandchildren.  Also survived by Joan Shaw of Gap, Mary Pittman of Quarryville, Geradine Gillespie of Florida, and Claude D. Shultz. She was preceded in death by three siblings Alfred Shultz, Barbara Chaney, and Betty Wilson.

A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Thursday April 20, 2017 at Upper Octorara Cemetery, Parkesburg,PA.
