Donald S. Reyburn

Donald S. Reyburn, 89, of Cochranville, passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at the Neighborhood Hospice Center in West Chester.  He was the husband of the late Helen Stackhouse Reyburn who died in 1970.  Born in Lower Oxford, he was the son of the late J. Harvey and Anna McCarter Reyburn.



Donald was a 1941 graduate of Avon Grove High School and he proudly served in the U.S. Navy.  He was a milkman for many years working for Pensupreme, West, and Sunny Slope.  He has been retired for the last 27 years spending most of that time with family and his love of gardening.



He is survived by one daughter, Patricia Gratzinger, wife of Stephen of Bala Cynwyd and preceded in death by one daughter Donna L. Hume.  He was the grandfather of Dawn Kavanaugh, wife of Mike, John Joseph Geiger, husband of Jen, Kimberly Riggin, wife of Raymond, Thomas Hume Jr., Stephanie Fuller, wife of Joseph, Kristen Hume, Stephen Gratzinger, Ashley Gratzinger and 10 great grandchildren.



He was preceded in death by brothers James Robert, Samuel, Alfred, one sister Joyce, stepsiblings Anita and Jimmy.  He is survived by one stepsister Bertha Conard.



Funeral services will be private.  Memorial donations may be made in his honor to Neighborhood Hospice, 400 East Marshall Street, West Chester, PA 19380.
