Donald R. Klunk, 73, of Honey Brook passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2010 at his home. He was the husband of Joyce Hart Klunk, with whom he shared three years of marriage.

Born on Friday, October 30, 1936 in West Chester, he was the son of the late Mary Woods Klunk and Francis Joseph Klunk. Donald served 28 years in the military, retiring as Command Sergeant Major. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion, the Sampson Air Force Base Assoc. and a Past Captain of the Good Will Fire CO. He belonged to the Unionville Presbyterian Church.

Donald is survived, in addition to his wife, by his five children: Laura Elizabeth Brooks, wife of Larry, of West Chester, Barbara Ann Mattheu, wife of John, of Fayetteville, N.C., Matthew E. Klunk, husband of Betty, of Belton, Tx., Robin Ellen Cirillo, wife of Joseph, of West Chester and Michael D. Klunk, husband of Amber, of Nashville, Tn.; 23 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, sister, Nancy Jo Buckley of New Port Richey, Fl., and stepchildren, Karl G. Haven, husband of Alyce, of Parkesburg and Kenneth L. Haven, husband of Mary Jane, of Fayetteville, AK. He was predeceased by two brothers and one brother-in-law.

The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday evening, July 13, 2010 at 8 p.m. at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg. Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing, which will be held at the Funeral Home from 6 until 8 PM. Interment will be held on Wednesday at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville.
