Dixie Lee Book Eveler

Dixie Lee Book Eveler, 75, of West Caln, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at the Brandywine Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late James A. Eveler, Sr. who died in 1999. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Ernest "Tip" and Violet Hoffman Book.
She lived in Coatesville all of her life and worked at First Step of Chester County for 20 years until retiring and then enjoyed her part time job of four years at Windy Hollow Farms.
She was a member of Kings Way Church in Sadsburyville PA.
Dixie will be especially remembered for her unselfishness, love, kindness to everyone and her love of photography, gardening, shopping and being surrounded by her family.
She is survived by six children; Candy wife of William Diviney Coatesville, Michael husband of Gwen of Wisconsin, Cheryl, wife of Ralph Roberts and James Eveler Jr. both of Tennessee, Dana, wife of Jeff Haworth of Coatesville and Joseph husband of Alanna Supplee Eveler of Coatesville, one sister Donna Book of Coatesville,16 grandchildren, six great grandchildren, nieces, Wendy Smoker Oas, Coatesville, Kimberly Smoker Moore, Nottingham and Cathy Smoker Hess, Columbia and cousin Judy Wenger and husband Skip of Coatesville.
She was preceded in death two sisters; Cheryl and Nancy.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 11am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA with a viewing from 10 to 11am. Interment will be private.
