Divina M. "Baby" Dayawon

Divina M. "Baby" Dayawon, 69, of Parkesburg, passed away at Lancaster General Hospital on Thursday, May 9th, 2019, surrounded by her family.

Born in Pasay City, Manila, Philippines.

Divina was the daughter of the late Aurelia (Molina) and Apolinar Dayawon, Sr.  She was a widow of Boromeo Marasigan

She graduated from Lyceum College with a double major in political science and foreign service.  She was employed by the Parkesburg Boro as an assistant secretary.

Divina was an active parishioner of Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church, serving as a Eucharistic minister.  In 2010, she became a fully professed Franciscan Secular at St Peter's Church in Point Pleasant, New Jersey.

Divina was a world traveler.

She is survived by her two beloved daughters, Sherill and Maria with husband Stephen , and four grandchildren: Makayla , Richard, Cameron, Annabelle; and siblings Purita, Mike and wife, Dulce, Apolinar Jr., Zenaida, Cristina and husband, Jim, Raymundo and wife, Lydia, and Nicolas and wife, Karen; as well as many nieces and nephews

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 17th, 2019 at 11 AM at Our Lady of Consolation Church, 603 W 2nd Ave, Parkesburg, PA 19365, followed by burial in Our Lady of Seven Dolors in Parkesburg.

The visitation will be held at the church from 10 AM until the time of the service.
