Dennis P. Getsie

Dennis P. Getsie, 67, of Christiana, PA, passed away at his home on Friday, April 20, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Susan Rausch Getsie with whom he shared 41 years of marriage. Born in St. Clair, PA he was the son of the late Joseph V. and Margaret I. Lango Getsie. Dennis served in the US Army from 1962 to 1965 and was stationed in Germany with the 3rd Armored Division. He was a self employed general contractor.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son Dennis P. Getsie, Jr. of Pittsburgh. He was preceded in death by two brothers Joseph and Bernard Getsie.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at 11:00 am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA with a viewing from 10 to 11:00 am. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation, Inc. 2010 West Chester Pike, Suite 300 Havertown, PA. 19083.
