David, Sally And Bill Young

The Young family grew up and lived on Main Street, Parkesburg, during the 1950s and '60s. Morey S. Young owned and operated a tomato packing company in town and he and his wife Helen Lilly Young raised four children, Bill, Morey, Sally, and David.

All four children graduated from Octorara, established careers and families, and settled in different parts of the country. They all attended the Parkesburg Methodist Church.

Unfortunately, in February of 2020, David passed away in Indiana. Sally passed away in October 2020 in Florida, and most recently Bill passed away in April in South Carolina.  Morey and his wife Kathy survive his siblings, along with Bill's wife Judy, David's wife, Joellyn.

A Celebration of Life service for the Young family and their Parkesburg connection will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. from the Parkesburg Methodist Church, with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
